Most fringe regrets happen between weeks 6 and 10. That's the awkward eye-poke phase. Here's how to walk through it without grabbing the kitchen scissors.
Stage 1: Side-sweep (weeks 0–6)
A blunt fringe naturally falls best swept to one side once it hits brow. A little texturising paste holds it without crunch.
Stage 2: Curtain bangs (weeks 6–12)
The single most flattering in-between cut. We add a soft middle parting and connect the front pieces to the layers behind. Comes out looking like you meant it.
Stage 3: Face frame (weeks 12–18)
The front pieces are now cheekbone length. A small shape-up keeps them blending into the rest of the cut.
Two styling tricks for the worst weeks
A bobby pin tucked behind the ear hides the corner length. A 1-inch barrel curl inward keeps the fringe out of your eyes without product.
