ConcernsTan & Dull Skin

Tan lines, faded out.

Two-wheeler commutes and open-sun weekends give North Bangalore its signature patchy tan — darker forearms, a helmet-strap line, a dull face under the dust. De-tan services lift the oxidised surface layer to even skin back out, clean-ups clear the commute grime, and brightening facials rebuild the glow. Results vary by skin type and how deep the tan runs, and we'll tell you at the consult what one sitting can and can't do.

Quick Answer
  • De-tan sittings from ₹500 on the published menu — face, arms, back and full-body options.
  • Clean-ups from ₹1,000 — commute grime and blackheads before they set into dullness.
  • Brightening facials from ₹1,900 for glow beyond tan removal.
  • Patch-sensitive skin gets a milder de-tan line — tell us before we start.
  • One sitting evens most fresh tans; deep, months-old tans need a short series. We'll say which yours is.
Why it happens here

The North Bangalore factors.

The commute tan

Daily two-wheeler rides tan the forearms, neck and face unevenly — the classic sleeve line. Fresh commute tan sits in the surface layer and responds fastest to de-tan sittings.

UV plus dust oxidation

Sun exposure oxidises melanin darker while road dust and pollution embed into oil on the skin, adding grey dullness on top of tan. That's why de-tan plus clean-up outperforms either alone.

Set-in, months-old tan

Tan that has been building for a season sits deeper than one sitting reaches. It fades over a short series of sittings spaced 2–3 weeks apart — and honest sunscreen habit in between.

Between visits

Home habits that hold the result.

  • SPF 30+ every morning — including for the ride to work; reapply if you're out at noon.
  • Full-sleeve gloves on the two-wheeler beat any de-tan schedule.
  • Don't scrub a fresh tan raw at home — aggressive loofah work darkens patches by irritation.
  • Moisturise nightly; dehydrated skin holds tan and dullness longer.
  • Book de-tan 3–4 days before an event, not the same morning — skin looks best after it settles.
The honest bit

De-tan works on the tan you brought in; it is not skin lightening and we don't sell it as that. Your natural tone is the baseline — what we remove is the temporary sun and pollution layer sitting on top of it.

Frequently Asked

Answers, straight from the chair.

How many de-tan sittings will I need?+

A fresh commute tan usually evens out in one sitting. A full season's set-in tan typically takes 2–4 sittings spaced 2–3 weeks apart. We'll tell you which bucket you're in before you commit to a series.

De-tan or clean-up — which do I need?+

If the issue is uneven darkness, de-tan (from ₹500). If it's dullness, congestion and blackheads, a clean-up (from ₹1,000). Commuters usually need both — they stack well in one visit.

Is de-tan safe for sensitive skin?+

We keep a milder de-tan line for sensitive and reactive skin and always patch-check first. Tell us about sensitivity when you book so we schedule the right products.

Will the tan just come back?+

Without sun protection, yes — in weeks. De-tan resets the canvas; SPF and covered riding keep it. We'd rather you know that than book monthly sittings forever.
