Hair smoothening (also called rebonding) breaks and re-forms the hair's disulfide bonds using thioglycolic acid, then sets it pin-straight with heat. It is more aggressive than keratin and lasts longer (6–8 months) but is harsher on fine, damaged or chemically-treated hair. Best when poker-straight hair is non-negotiable. From ₹5,999.
